Curriculum

The courses offered at Burke Catholic are listed in the course-offering booklet, which is revised and printed at regular intervals.  In early spring when this booklet is distributed, the class teachers and guidance counselors advise students regarding required courses and electives.  The Guidance Department, in consultation with department heads and classroom teachers, determines placement in Advanced Placement and Honors courses.

Students are required to complete a tentative program sheet, which must be signed by parents and approved by teachers and guidance counselors.  Students are then programmed.
